Will all the stains be removed?
We would love to promise that all stains and marks will be removed however this would be impossible. In most cases all marks and stains can cleaned, however ingrained stains may not be completely removed. We will ensure that stains are all properly treated and we will use our experience to clean the dress to achieve the best possible results. If we have to we will clean the dress a second time.
Can you clean the Beads and sequins and trimmings on my dress ?
As always beads, sequins and trimmings are the most delicate parts of the dress. We will check the suitablility of cleaning before we begin. While we take every care we cannot accept responsibility for those trimmings which are not suitable for cleaning and it is possible sometimes that the dressmaker has not secured them properly. Despite our best endeavours it is possible for some to come loose.
Will my silk dress keep its texture and colour ?
Silk dresses are very delicate and if they are being cleaned for the first time it is possible that there may be slight changes to the texture or colour as well as maybe shrinkages to the silk. Even with the most delicate cleaning process changes can occur
If there is a problem what happens?
In our cleaning process we will ensure that if we encounter any issues that we are unsure of ie. A trim that may need specialist attention, that we will contact the retailer or indeed the manufacturer if required to get the information that we need.
Are you insured to clean my dress?
Yes. If there is a claim then our insurers will be informed who will handle the claim in its entirety.
